man-and-babySometimes I hear people say; “It’s too late, I’m too old, I’m too young, I don’t have time, energy or talent to do ____!”

The conversations generally start about not having enough money or they are frustrated with the situation that they are in. My goal is to help my clients win and have success in their life, whether or not the issues are all around money…. But it usually plays a big role!

Here’s the thing, if you tell yourself you are not a winner – sooner or later you will believe it. So how do you develop a winning attitude?

I am going to share with you 3 steps you can use to build one! These are easy to say and understand but they require you to give all of your effort. If you know me – then you know one of mantras is; Focus, Discipline and Action! You have to have a focus and then have the discipline to take the action steps towards what you want. So let’s look at the first step:

1. You have to make a strong and permanent commitment to invest your life, your passion or talents, only in the interests that deserve your best efforts. You have probably heard the saying – If it’s worth doing at all, it’s worth doing to the best of your ability. Stop spinning your wheels on projects or a job that is not a match for you and your values. My coaching and words can motivate you by sharing my experience and wisdom, but I know that nobody can really motivate another person; it’s something that only you can do for yourself. (I want you to get inspired with you!)

When you set goals for yourself (Focus) and it matters to you (matches your values) you find a way or the resources to accomplish what at first may have seemed impossible. I see it every day with my clients! When you are committed to your overriding purpose you will do what you need to do to get it done. You won’t give up. In my experience what drives people that are winning in life is that they put the effort in and are able to bounce back from any failures or defeats that they may experience. They battle discouragement and fear because they believe in a purpose bigger than themselves.

You can be anything you want!2. It all starts with a commitment to give all that you have, and all that you are to achieve your goals. Winners are ready to roll up their sleeves and get the job done and take on the inevitable challenges that come their way. They accept problems as opportunities in disguise. You can have the loftiest goals, highest ideals, the noblest dreams, but nothing works unless you do! (Discipline)

3. Make a strong commitment to reach your full potential as a human being. I believe that we were all born to greatness. One of my mentors said; “The greatest enemy of your creative powers is smug complacency – being satisfied with less than what you are capable of doing.” Take (Action) towards your goals and dreams – you are worth it – you deserve it – and the world is waiting for you!

What is your gift? What are your gifts? What would do every day – even if you didn’t get paid for it?

Like I say to my clients – you are ripping us off (the world!) by not being true to who you are, sharing your passion and talent and playing small.

We want what you have to offer! Believe!

I believe in you…. Go get it!
